This one-day workshop will send you home with tools for adapting to a changing climate.

This session will:

  • Provide information on the current and anticipated effects of climate change on local forests
  • Describe how to integrate climate change considerations into management planning and activities
  • Share examples real-world projects that considered climate change adaptation as one of multiple management objectives

An afternoon field activity will also deliver active, hands-on training. Natural resource managers will use the adaptation workbook to discuss actions for management and adaptation for a forest site nearby.
